Do I need to do anything before you arrive?
Anybody always tries to make sure every project goes smoothly. So they offer as much help to the contractor so they can get started straight away. This also helps bring the job completion time closer. This is why we are always questioned: “Do I need to do anything before you arrive?”. In reality, the answer is no, we can take care of everything. But in all honesty, there are a few things that massively help us out which we’ll cover on this page.
Help us so we can help you
When it comes to completing your home improvement project, our UPVC spraying South Wales team would ideally like you to be prepared on your side. This is to increase the chance that everything goes according to plan and that the project is finished on time. We will always do an initial site visit so after that we can instruct on the next steps. These are some of the most common things below:

- Remove anything expensive or near the windows or doors that can’t be covered.
- Drag all large items inside and outside such as sofas and plant pots as far away from the spray area.
- If it’s internal spraying, take down any curtains or blinds.
- Close any windows that aren’t involved in spraying because it’s a lot easier to get spray off the exterior of your home rather than the interior.
- Take all washing in off the line. Although we do what we can to minimise overspray, sometimes Cardiff winds have a mind of their own.
- Clear any vehicles off the driveways.
- Keep any pets locked away.
Maximise efficiency
To put it simply we ask you just so our crew can operate in the area. We come with spray guns, masking sheets and cables so every inch that we can walk in makes our job more efficient. Equally, if you can’t do anything before we arrive then we are more than happy to do it ourselves. We don’t mind moving beds or garden benches but we’ll leave the little shelf ornaments to you. If you have to spray UPVC windows in Cardiff and want our help, then don’t hesitate to get in touch with us!
